Distance is front and center in the game of golf, and Justin James is at its peak. Justin James is the number one ranked long driver in the world, and the 2017 Volvik World Long Drive Champion. Justin is one of the faces of the sport, being featured in event broadcasts, digital and social coverage, and contributes to programs such as Morning Drive and Golf Central. In addition to long drive, Justin is a former professional baseball player in the Toronto Blue Jays organization, a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Titleist Performance Institute Power, Golf and Fitness Professional, and one of the leading golf fitness authorities in the world, speaking at events like the World Golf Fitness Summit. Justin lives in Jacksonville, FL and is a graduate of Trinity Baptist College with a Masters in Biblical Studies.
Outings and Appearances
Clinics: Justin will start your event off by entertaining guests with a 30-45 minute distance and long drive clinic. Justin will demonstrate strategies for adding distance, including swing technique, practice habits, equipment adjustments, and golf fitness and flexibility. Justin will get the audience involved, using volunteers and demonstrating how these modifications add club head and ball speed, and can be applied by anyone. Rather than simply entertaining, Justin’s goal is to educate and add yards!
Long Drive Experience: Give golfers the thrill of a World Long Drive event. Justin will be featured on a par 5, hitting drives and entertaining guests. In addition to being able to use Justin’s drives, golfers will compete on a competition grid set up by Justin with the option to use competition drivers and balls, testing swing speed, clubbed speed, and distance. Far beyond your average “longest drive” hole, the long drive experience is a hole golfers will not forget.
Seminars: Just like chipping and putting, distance and power are skills, and no one is better at teaching these than Justin James. Using his background as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and TPI Certified Golf, Power, and Fitness Coach, Justin will create a program for your group discussing how to most efficiently and effectively add power and distance through swing techniques, equipment modifications, and fitness and flexibility strategies. When correct power principles are implemented, anyone is capable of adding yards.
Full Day Golf Outing: Justin will performa a pre tournament clinic, on course Long Drive Experience, and will be available post tournament for dinner, questions and answers, pictures, etc.
Half Day Golf Outing: Justin will perform a pre or post tournament clinic, and will be available for meet and greet and to answer questions before play begins, or at lunch or dinner after the round.
Seminars: Will be tailored to the audience’s needs. 45 to 90 minute presentation, followed by question and answer session
Full Day Clinic and Power Camp: A full day, interactive experience. Participants will begin the day learning in the “classroom,” and then put these swing, fitness and flexibility techniques into practice in the gym and on the range.
